The first year of your puppy’s life is critical to his or her health. This is the time when puppies need the most veterinary care. While there are a number of good veterinary hospitals in Clearwater to take care of your puppy, we believe there are several factors that set us apart.
DAMC has Puppy Wellness Plans that provide all the necessary examinations and procedures at the appropriate time, giving you peace of mind, while giving your puppy the healthiest possible start in life.
You should enroll your puppy as early as possible, before their 5th month.
We love puppies and kittens, but our caring team loves adult pets too, and promises to treat them like one of our own. When you bring your puppy in to DAMC, you can be sure that we have their best interest in mind. We’ll never offer services or prescribe medicine that is unnecessary.
One advantage of a multi-doctor practice is that it enables us to consult within our own practice, on difficult cases . With varying experience and specialties, our doctors don’t have to go far to find an expert to consult with.
Our goal is to aid you in making the best decisions for your pet’s health.

We love puppies, but we’re also cat friendly. It’s stressful enough for your pet, especially your cat, to come see us for a visit. From our landscaping to our surgical suites, we pride ourselves on running an orderly, well-maintained facility. Since we are a veterinary hospital, accident will happen, but we work very hard at having the cleanest facility in town. Our animal hospital is rigorously cleaned & maintained all day.
Part of providing superior care is utilizing the latest in technology. Dunedin Animal Medical Center is equipped with advanced imaging (digital X-ray), laboratory, endoscopy, laser treatment, and other advanced procedures.
Our goal is always to provide the best value. We do that by charging reasonable fees and providing exceptional care. Even in the case of routine wellness exams, our appointments are 10 minutes longer than other nearby animal hospitals. We want time to evaluate what is going on with your pet and have an opportunity to address all your concerns and questions.
Bigger clinics in the Clearwater area are owned by a large corporations based in other parts of the country. As a privately (veteran) owned animal hospital, we are able to make independent decisions based on what is best for you and your pet. Our hands are not tied by the bylaws and quotas of a profit-focused corporation.
We invite you to call and set up a time to tour our animal hospital and meet members of our team.
